Dear Colleagues,

While Bezmialem Science successfully presents the last issue of 2016, it continues to head straight for the top thanks to your great efforts. I thank those who contributed to the inclusion of our journal in ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index) and ULAKBIM TR Index. For our journal, which is included in the Web of Science, the rate of being viewed is gradually increasing every month. We are taking firm steps forward our goal, which is to be included in the Science Citation Index Expanded. Because of heavy demand for our journal and many studies being accepted but waiting for publication, the number of articles in each issue will be increased as of 2017 and our journal will be published for four times a year.

Each issue of Bezmialem Science, in which I have been included since its foundation, arouses excitement for me as much as in the first issue. Like a child’s being born, crawling, and walking, each issue helps us to grow up and you to feel excited for presenting new papers. However, we are aware of that we must carry this excitement forward with you. Therefore, I want to remind the importance of choosing our journal in your either experimental or clinical studies and citing from the articles published in Bezmialem Science in your studies accepted by foreign journals.

Understanding the power of unity during these hard days of our country, we have noticed that we must go further in science, industry, and technology. The weight of history on our shoulders has become heavier. We must do our duty for our country and for our people by working hard and by growing up generations that are respectful to national and moral values under the leadership of science.

I wish the New Year to bring health, peace, and happiness to you, your family, your loved ones, and to all people.
